Tablet goes to Hospital

As I mentioned previously, my Tablet PC suffered a little disaster - namely it had one corner broken off when it fell off my suitcase when I was rushing to get to the office for my business trip…. anyway, I did some research and found the Fujitsu International Help line, and I have been so impressed with the perfect after sales service!!  This justifies spending a bit more on Fujitsu.  Admittedly, the service is excellent because I live in Japan and Fujitsu has its biggest market here.  But, in any event, I spoke to the guy (perfect English).  Not a warranty claim so it should be easy to get fixed.   He reviewed some facts and basically quoted just 30,000 yen for a 2 week turnaround. That fee is just for the parts, and no delivery charge etc.  He asked what time tomorrow (a Sunday!!) would I like to have it picked up by the courier. They will then fix it and return it likewise.  The guy picked it up and the packaged it lovingly with care…. amazing.  So, now I just have to wait for my favourite piece of technology to come back from hospital.
